HISTORY:

          Cynthia has always has tried to keep a positive view of the shaky marriage that was between her mother and Gary. However, she was faced with the harsh truth when they divorced. Cynthia does not like her fathers new woman Barbara Winthrop and has made that known to her father many times.

However, when Barbara and Nicholas arrived in town she immediately developed a crush on Nicholas Kane. She was dating Brian Mandrell at the time. Once they broke up, she got to know Nicholas and they have been together ever since.
